Training Administrator (Apprenticeship)
At Head Office we have a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Training Administrator to join our close-knit, award nominated, in-house training team. Do you have a passion for people development? Are you a great communicator with strong IT skills and attention to detail?
You would need to have a forensic approach with your attention to detail and be a great communicator with strong IT skills, who is interested in a career helping others to develop their skills at work. The apprenticeship covers all aspects of the training cycle and would expect the individual to fully immerse themselves into their own development. Your Responsibilities
The position is primarily based out of our Leeds Head Office, however some travel to our office in Sheffield will also be required.
We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for supporting the team in delivering our company training plan and team objectives.
The main duties of the role include:
- To provide administrative support to the Training & Development (T&D) team in the coordination, delivery, and evaluation of training and development activities.
- Maintain accurate training records, certificates, and attendance logs.
- Ensure quality control of T&D systems, shared documentation and folders, maintaining version control and standardised formatting across materials.
- Registration of delegates on learning management systems (LMS), monitoring and reporting completions.
- Liaise with external training providers to manage bookings, logistics & attendance.
- Collate and distribute training materials, handouts, and evaluation forms.
- Schedule and coordinate internal and external training sessions, including room bookings, attendee communications, and materials preparation
- Act as the point of contact for training-related enquiries
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the T&D function.
- Support the delivery of inductions for new starters.
- Any other duties supporting delivery of the T&D function.
- Complete all aspects of L3 Learning & Development Practitioner Apprenticeship
Person Specification
Essential:
- Educated to A-level or equivalent
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Shows commitment to maintaining high quality in administrative processes and records
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook)
- Proven experience in an administrative role
- Basic understanding of training and development processes
- Familiarity with data protection and confidentiality practice
- Demonstrates pride in producing high-quality, accurate work with strong attention to detail in all tasks
- Willing to learn and develop within the role and take on new challenge
- Strong team player – works effectively and supportively with others
- Committed to continuous improvement and professional standards
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
